  • Will the Neal Fitness Center be open during construction?

    While 900 W Western is under renovation, we will continue to offer group fitness classes and use of our aerobic and strength training equipment at the following locations:

    The front desk, weight & cardio machines, cycle studio, and i’move physical therapy at Fresh Coast Alliance Training Center (1128 Roberts St.)

    Group fitness classes at Kingdom Life Church (1215 Apple Ave.)

    Youth Programming for BGCML is at All Shores Wesleyan Church (1050 W Southern Ave.)

  • Is the pool available during construction?

    No. Since the renovations require power, gas, and water shut off, the pool cannot safely operate during construction.

    Design plans for the repairs and updates to the pool are still in the early stages. Funds are STILL being raised, and naming rights are available. Email info@bgclubmuskegon.com to show your support of the next chapter of our community aquatic center.

  • Do you offer a Steam Room, Sauna, and Whirlpool?

    No, these amenities are no longer offered at Neal Fitness Center.

  • Do you offer the Silver Sneakers Program at Neal Fitness Center?

  • Are there any mask requirements currently at Neal Fitness Center

    Mask are currently not required at NFC. We are following the CDC guidelines. Please see front desk if you have any questions.

  • Will there be a limit on class size at Neal Fitness Center?

    Yes, normal exercise classes will be limited to 25 people. To ensure your spot, please sign up! Note, special classes could have larger or smaller group limit sizes.

    NOTE: There will be a 12 hour cancellation policy or will be charged $5 for No Show for normal classes. Cancellations for rentals are subject to a 50% cancellation fee for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance.

  • Do you offer childcare?

    No, childcare will not be available. School age youth, ages 6+ are encouraged to visit the Boys & Girls Club during regular Club hours. See BGClubMuskegon.com for the Bob & Merle Scolnik Boys & Girls Club regular hours.

  • Are you affiliated with any other health clubs or groups that give access to multiple health Clubs? (Ex: United Health Care Program- Renew Active gives access to partner Fitness Centers).

    Not at this time. The Neal Fitness Center is a stand alone facility.
