This course will explore:
Gaining flexibility and finding balance in the physical, mental, and behavioral senses
Deepening our understanding of anatomy, the acupuncture meridians, and Chakras
Exploring the physiology of Hatha yoga and qigong with the goal of finding a sustainable and enjoyable practice
Laying the groundwork for open-mindedness and discipline to work toward a new sense of well-being and fulfilling longevity.
Elspeth is originally from upstate New York and began traveling to Central America in 2004, where she lived for 17 years, studying Acupuncture, traditional herbal medicine, Qi Gong, and meditation. She completed her formal training in Hatha Yoga at Mahadevi Ashram in Guatemala in 2016. She is a trauma-informed therapist, combining Yoga therapy with psychotherapy in her work with individuals recovering from addiction, eating disorders, and unresolved trauma.
